Creative Ideas for Outdoor Spa Landscaping?
Until now, the garden area was increased, tile included. We have decided to plunk it a spa in. It is a 5 'x 8' (40 m) open area of the raised garden, we need to do something. The options are: cement it in. Disadvantage: The garden currently has irrigation, which would be closed forever. Upside: no maintenance. Flower or vegetable garden. Rock garden. Wells. OR?
I have a cure is in my pool, and a planter on the back of the pool with very low maintenance plants and decorative rock that keeps the weeds to a Minimum. I am in Florida, it is a year long process, but I'm not complaining! haha (I'm happy:). Around the resort, I decided to simply potted plants and they are great! I plant a major work in the middle of the container (a perennial or Palm) and annuals at the border. I can change it all the time. I have about 6 pots of various sizes around the spa and they just look great. They sit on my deck pavers (which is a nice idea, could be instead of concrete). I just mix it all! Yeah … you still have water but it is not so bad. A water feature or fountain is nice … but then you're definitely always more work and maintenance. A rock garden can be beautiful and will make your spa very natural look, you do not have to water … although to go as something easy. I love my container Garden. I have to take care of a lot of other garden – but that's my favorite because they are doing so well! Good luck to you! Nothing like sitting in the relaxing spa with beautiful Plants surround you! PS: I do not know about you, but I use my spa mostly at night. Consider planting light or white plants. There is a wide variety: Caladium, Brugmansia, Jasmine … etc. I also love the plants that the deep scent of the night! This is an added bonus!
