This was an advanced carving class that was held at BBStudios. We had a great time constructing this water feature. We met a lot of very nice people that will do well with their craft. This water feature is going to be a waterfall with a fish pond. BBS will be showing even more video once the feature is completed in the rain forest area of the Studio. www.bigbamboostudios.net has all of the extra details on our upcoming training. Please visit the site and let us know if you need anything. We would like to thank http for being such a great sponsor of our classes. This entire armature was scratch coated with their 3 hole mortar sprayer it was outstanding. BBS has lots of new stuff coming up very soon, look out for it. Thanks for watching and we wish you the very best. just a little bit more done. no, the water wont stay that way, lol. big big plans for the filter, and a way to not make it an eyesore. i think everyone will be happy with it. lol. just needed to hear the noise for now.when you go from having a roaring pond, to nothing, its kind of wierd. the stainless steel is above the bigger, deeper settling chamber, the bakki shower will sit above it. i will be installing another stainless rack in there as well. this will be the return to the pond. just wait till you see my plan for making the bakki shower hidden(which will also keep algae growth down.) on a crappy note, my video camera seems to be acting funny, i wasnt able to edit all the clips i shot today, because they didnt turn out very good. not sure why, just going to assume its time for a new camera.

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Palenque, Mexico by TravelPod blogger Shaunpilk titled “The waterfall of Palenque!” Shaunpilk’s travel blog entry: “We left San Cristobal just after midnight, took the second class bus to Palenque. The bus arrived a little late at like 7:30 am in Palenque. We were looking for transportation to the ruins nearby and also to Tikal in Guatemala tomorrow. Unfortunately there were no overnight buses to Tikal so we would have to wait a day. We walked into a tour office offering tranportation to palenque as well as some near by water falls and a separate deal to tikal. Behind the desk sat a very fat man with a calculator. The brochures had blank lines where he wrote prices after sizing us up. He was constantly using his calculator trying to find deals for us (which were clearly for him). He let us pay in dollars but offered a terrible rate. I made my thoughts on the rate clear and he gave us a better rate and a package deal, but it still felt shifty. We accepted and later boarded a van to the ruins. On the van we met a cool brother and sister (Martin and Sara) from Vienna. He had spent the last 2 months in Mexico City finishing his master’s thesis on Business opportunities in Mexico and was quite adept in Spanish. They told us about the place they were staying which was cheap, in the middle of the jungle, and had a pool, from which howler monkeys could easily be seen in overhanging trees. So we were sold on where to stay (more …

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Jingdu, China by TravelPod blogger Livewireshock titled “Beijing First Waterfall” Livewireshock’s travel blog entry: “Today I set off on a fairly long bike ride into the mountains north of Miyun. I rode about 35km north to the Beijing First Waterfall, the tallest waterfall in the Beijing provincial area at 65m in height. The ride was ok and I had not alot of problems. The climb into the hills was steep but not too bad and I was able to comfortably complete the ride. Several bread loaf drivers stopped and offered to cart my up the hill, albeit for a fee. I was in fine spirits so I decline. For most of the ride it is past countryside I have already travelled along by van to Heilongtan. Beyond here however, the road continues to climb the river valley. The gradient is quite mild and I enjoy the views over the crops in the river valley with the remains of the Great Wall still on the ridgelines above. Near the top of the climb I pass through a small tunnel before a long dark tunnel that pierces the mountain and making a shortcut across a bend in the river. At the far end, the road rapidly descends back down the side of the valley wall towards the floor of the valley. I had lunch in a roadside restaurant. The staff are bemused to see me and I fumble over a menu I can not read. I chance pot luck and I was happy with the result. After eating I ride part way back towards the tunnel. On a sharp hairpin bend as you enter the …
