I live in Florida and have never had a well before. I know when and how to protect plants from an overnight freeze, but do I have to do anything to my well?
I’ve read that it needs to get to about 28 degrees, for pipes to start freezing, is there a threshold to take precautions with the well? It and the filtration system is exposed to the elements (no shed or faux rocks).
Do I need to do anything to prevent the well from freezing? If so what and when?
